The 12 Step 30-Day Program offered by The Liberty Ranch offers men and women an introduction to sobriety and a life free from the grips of alcoholism and drug addiction. 

After admission, residents are introduced to each other and receive an orientation about the operation of the facility.  Each resident is given their own 12-step outline.  Obtaining a 12-step sponsor is mandatory for each resident and they are encouraged to contact him or her regularly.  Residents begin the process of recovery, guided by a staff of sober men and women who have experience in and who actively work the 12-steps program they teach. 

During their 30-day stay at The Liberty Ranch, residents begin working the steps into their daily lives.  In addition to sponsorship, bookstudies, attendance at seven to nine 12-step meetings a week our very structure helps residents conform to the principles in the 12-step program.  Residents begin working the steps as outlined and learn how to apply the 12-steps appropriate to their chemical dependency.  Graduation is scheduled the last week of residency with family members and significant others.  A recovery home whose structure is intertwined with the 12-step program is critical for post detox or drug rehab participants.  The Liberty Ranch helps to fill the void between "going home" and "drug rehab."  We work with many people who have been through several drug rehabs or hospital programs but cannot stay sober.  By providing a safe, supportive environment rooted in 12-step principles, many men and women suffering from alcoholism and drug addiction will be able to achieve the tools necessary to remain clean and sober.
